Dr. Don Reimer - Celebration of Life

Dr. Reimer’s service will be held on Tuesday, November 21st at 1:30pm at Grant Memorial Church, 877 Wilkes Avenue, Winnipeg. A reception will follow at the church. Dr. Reimer will be laid to rest with his wife Anne privately, at Thomson “In the Park” Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB.

Dr. Donald Sanford Reimer triumphantly passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a long and wonderful life. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Anne Reimer, on June 10, 2023.

 

He is survived by his children: Doug (Dawn), Jim (Sandy) and Kelly (Sydney); grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler (Arlene), Keegan (Alexis), Alessandra (Luis) and Arianne; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Annika, Iyla and Marco; brothers and sisters-in-law, Delbert (Noreen) Reimer, Grace (Ken) Betzold, and June Reimer; his in-laws, John (Betty) Olfert, Maryanne Olfert, Mary Klassen, and many nieces and nephews.

 

Donald was predeceased by his parents Frank and Margaret Reimer (nee Penner), granddaughter Rachel Lain, brother Gerald Reimer, brothers-in-law Jacob Olfert and Benjamin Klassen.

 

Donald was the founder of Reimer Express Lines Ltd. and Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Reimer World Corp.

 

He was a lover of God’s word and devoted his life to following Christ.

 

The family wish to thank the Dialysis Unit at St. Boniface Hospital and the many medical professionals that helped along the way with Dr. Reimers care. With Special thanks to Dr. Wayne Manishen, Dr. Mauro Verrelli and Dr. Darrel Drachenberg, your care and compassion along the years have been deeply appreciated.
