For the past nine years Darrell has been the Property Manager here at Grant Memorial. His role is to ensure that all aspects, inside and outside, of the building and campus property are operating smoothly. He enjoys problem-solving and in this position, those skills have been challenged and honed into the subject matter expert that he has become on all things building related. Darrell has been married for twenty-eight years to his wife, Myrna, and their family includes two children and a dog. Their oldest, Stephen attended and played hockey for Briercrest Bible College and recently married his high school sweetheart, Abigail. Their daughter, Julianna, is in Senior Years at LCS and is involved in the band and choir programs. She excels in six styles of dance in the competitive performance division at her dance studio. The family wouldn't be complete without Cody, their ten-year-old golden doodle dog. A couple of things you might not know about Darrell is that he grew up in Elmwood here in Winnipeg and that he has done his rural tour of duty and lived in four different Manitoba communities. His career path has taken him on a journey through retail, sales, photography, grocery, small business ownership, management and now here, managing a great team in the property department. He enjoys spending time creating in both woodworking and metal works, photography and relaxing while kayaking.
