KEVIN ZINK

Member of the Council of Elders

ELDERS

Born and raised in a Christian home in Winnipeg, Kevin has attended Grant Memorial throughout his life. He met and married his wife, Tricia at Grant more than 25 years ago and is father to two great kids, Allycia (12) and Caleb (8). Kevin is currently working with Manitoba Hydro as an Engineer responsible for design elements in the utility’s communication network. He’s had the privilege and opportunity at Grant to lead Sunday School, assist in coordination of College and Career, led and co-led small groups, have been part of the men’s ministry team and served as an Elder since 2019. Kevin has embraced Grant as a church that revere’s God’s Word and seeks to speak the truth of the Gospel of Christ and His Kingdom and serve the community at Grant and the greater community in which we live. Kevin believes that God’s Word has much to say for our day and the world in which we live, that God is very much at work in accomplishing those things He has said He would do, and that the Holy Spirit is active, is capable of directing and teaching and has continued to stir in his life. Kevin believes the Church is important as the Body of Christ to help reach the lost, and to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world, and it is his privilege to serve alongside others on the team of Elders here at Grant to support the Church, it’s leadership team and congregation. He looks forward to supporting what God continues to do in everyone's lives and in this community as we seek to discern His will for our church and community at this time.
