Bruce and Sandra have been married fifty-two years, they have two married daughters and five grandchildren. Bruce has attended Grant Memorial for twenty years and has taught a men’s study class, acted as head cook in the kitchen and has been an Elder at Grant for approximately seven years. Bruce’s gifting lies in evangelism. He is a retired member of the Winnipeg Police Service and, during the last five years of his service, served as the police chaplain. Bruce currently works as a spare for the Commissionaires at D Division RCMP and gives presentations to new immigrants on occasion regarding Personal Safety in Winnipeg. Bruce and Sandra enjoy traveling, having recently returned from St Petersburg Russia and have visited fifty-six countries. Bruce has a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies, a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate and a diploma in Applied Counselling from the University of Manitoba. Bruce also served fourteen years in the Naval Reserves out of HMCS Chippewa.
