Update: Youth Ministry Director
November 2, 2017
We have been actively engaged in a search for a Director of Youth Ministry for seven months but have not yet found an individual to serve in this leadership position. For a brief time, the search will be suspended and will re-launch in Spring 2018. In the interim, to provide immediate support for our Youth Ministry, Beth Braun (Director of Children’s Ministry) will serve as Staff Supervisor until June 30. To support Youth Leader Alison Greenslade, we are actively seeking to add staff to our Youth Team that have a passion for Youth Ministry. Stay tuned!
JR Youth & The Friday Night Experience // November
We want our Friday Night experience for JR Youth to be one in which youth feel they have been to a place where they belong, where growing relationships with Jesus are explored, and where quality friendships are formed and discipleship happens in the context of small groups.
In order to align the Friday Night experience with our goals and values, we believe it is important to pause, pray and plan for what JR Youth will be going forward. On Fridays, November 3, 10 & 17 there will be no Friday night activity for JR Youth. We will RELAUNCH on Friday, November 24! Please join us in prayer as we seek God for wisdom, creativity and ultimately His plans for our JR Youth community.
Update // November 1, 2017
It is with great pleasure that I announce that we have hired Emilio Abuisi and Nic Neustaedter as full-time staff in our Youth Ministry!
Nic is a familiar face around Grant and Grant Youth and he brings a heart for discipleship, prayer and worship to our Youth team. Emilio is a recent graduate of Summit Pacific Bible College and brings a passion for preaching, team building and outreach with him.
Added to Alison's desire to see youth discover their identity in Christ and grow in their leadership skills, I am confident that this is a team that will lead our youth exceptionally well this upcoming year. Please keep this team in prayer as we set a plan in motion for the remainder of this school year!
